Question on female ballerinas wearing of tights leotard and underwear?

Question:i know this question may sound disgusting or drude but as ballerienas as you not alllowed to wear underwear do you find that. when you wear your leotard over your tights the crotch part of the leotard almsot acts as underwear. giving you the comfort and support you need.

also what happens if you are wearing a unitard is this and exception or do still wear no underwear

Leotards act as underwear because they have an underwear crotch part thing. If you wear underwear with a leotard then it will show through... and that would be embarrassing haha. Unitards have the same underwear crotch thing as leotards.

Yes the Leotard Has crotch thingy haha And it is like underwear.

I wear underwear and practice and such but just not at performaces. Hope this helps have a good day . =)

There is a cotton gusset in tights, so it isn't like your stuff is gonna go flopping out, and the tights are opaque so it really isn't as cuncomfortable as it sounds. With unitards, and I don't know why anyone would wear one, you don't wear undies, but depending on the sleeves there are also body tights which work the same way.

traditionally you aren't supposed to wear underwear, and I never have. little kids sometimes do, but it looks awful.

A unitard I guess you could wear underwear, I don't wear unitards usually and if I did I probably wouldn't wear it anyway. It's uncomfortable.

I've only worn underwear when I NEEDED to, and then I would wear shorts... Because tights don't give protection against blood or anything... sorry if that sounds crude.
