Im new to ballet... HELLP!!?

Question:I JUST STARTED BALLET LIKE A WEEK AGO MY BALLET TEACHER SAYS I HAVE PRETTY GOOD TRUN OUT BUT I DONT THINK ITS RIGHT FOR ME BUT AT THE SAME TIME I REALLY DO ENJOY IT STILL WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you love to jump and love to wear your tutu as you do your "pointe work" on stage for a long time, stick to your love of ballet and don't give up.

I believe that you are eventually going to be a gifted ballet dancer. Who knows? You could be the next Suzanne Ferrell
if you work hard enough.....

i think you need to give it more than a week, love. If your teacher says you have alright turn out, that's one thing in your favour. If you enjoy it, keep doing it. You can do ballet for fun or for exams or for performance. Do what you enjoy,

Stick it out for a little longer. It may be just what you need...... or not. There are many people who are born with perfect turnout but sometimes they are not meant to dance. What you need to know is that you really will have to work if you want to dance. The ballet world is VERY competitive and perfect turnout may not be enough. Try it out though! You may make it big someday or you may just do it for fun.

you should do it for a little longer ..and if u dnt like it after a month then decide weather you should contiue dancing.

stick it out for at least another month. you'll learn discipline, poise, posture, flexibility, dance, art, and making something look easy although it's not.

you probablly didnt think it was right because you were with younger people and nervous but if you have a good turn out and enjoy it do it. i started 2 weeks ago and i dont tink i have a good turn out but i still go because i love it, oh and im 13 in grade 2 with 7/8 year olds.i felt it wasnt right because all of the mums looked at me like im a freek but i dont care i love it and when im in swan lake then ha to them!lol
