just practice really really hard....hold on to something and jump to get a lot of power....get ur splits down it will help a lot....work on flexibility...

Anyways, my best advice is to practice, practice, practice! Make sure you have the correct technique also, or you'll never get it. DO NOT do a leap one foot at a time, where one leg comes up, and then the next one. You want to brush both up out from under you at the same time. This takes a lot of power, so really try your hardest! Also, don't just leap leisurely into the air, you have to really push your legs up into your split. Make sure you maintain your posture, it helps too! Getting your splits and extensions is a lot of help, too! Good luck!

Hi,you mean petite jete or grand jete.If petite jete,you much jump and u can see yourself like "A" on air. If grand jete just think 2 grand battement:Battement devant - jump - battement derriere.(2 kicks on the air)...remember all the jumping much PLIE before you jump.
