to improve flexibility you could lay on the ground with your butt against a wall and let your legs drop to the sides of you as far as you can and if you want you can have someone push down on them, you could also do left and right leg lunges (one knee is bent but make sure your foot is directly under your knee or you could hurt yourself and the other leg is straight out behind you as your almost sittting on the floor.. you can also have someone push down on your back), just regular leg stretches, and touching your toes. For balance try and stand on one leg as long as possible. For balance and flexibility you could do a calf stretch which is just standing, having your feet together, and standing on your toes. You could also do a left and right leg quadricep stretch (pulling your leg up by grabbing your ankle as your standing and balancing on the other leg) or you could do the bow stretch shown in this video for both balance and to get flexible.

If you cant balance that well just hold onto a chair or anything and then try and let go once you have your balance.
just stay consistant but dont stretch too much or you'll be majorly sore the next day trust me i know lol

ps. just also do splits every other day and push down a little further everytime but dont do them too much or you could hurt yourself badly! goodluck again! =]

Yoga and Pilates do the job get a video or join a club if you are going to do it at home you will need a mat or something nice and soft to do it on.

well if you are a dancer and take dance you can always stretch on a bar. If you are not succesfull with that go into a splilt and hold it for 30 seconds minimum and do that everyday and i promise you will see inprovements(:

Splits-stretch every day after warming up and hold the splits as far as you can go for several minutes.

Balance-core strength and practice.
