Here is a good website for tips on becoming more flexible: http://martialarts.about.com/od/famousma... It works so good! If this doesn't help practice your stretches everyday. I did this with splits and now I can do them perfectly! Or you can get some yoga videos and stretch to those.

Yoga and palates are two types of exercise that will increase flexibility.

Stretching and lite weight lifting. Make muscles stronger helps with flexibility.

My best friend stretched herself every single day three times a day and was able to do the splits in about 1.5 months. Just stretch yourself every day multiple times and keep pushing yourself to stretch further. That's the only way you will get better at it

Yoga or Pilates

One thing, and only one will help with flexibility: STRETCHING

Warm up before you stretch and hold each stretch as far as you can go without bending your knees or curving your back for at least 15-30 seconds or longer. Do a variety of stretches for every muscle you can think of. You can also just try random movements and if you feel a stretch, hold it and push yourself farther. I've discovered ways to stretch muscles that I didn't know how to stretch by doing this. =D

Theres really no secret to gaining flexibility. The best thing to do is just hold multiple stretches for 30seconds to a minute to the point where they are uncomfortable. If you do this daily, you will achieve muscle memory, and your muscles will feel more and more normal each time you go into that position. Before you dance, I've found that you need to keep your muscles warm before class in order not to strain anything. It also helps if you move your feet around briskly or do little jumps before you get into dancing of any kind. It realy pays off. Once you gain your flexibility it will be much easier to become a better dancer!

strectching, yoga and swimming will help stretch the muscle.. making u more flexible.

Stretching

The best way to become more flexible is regular stretching. It helps if you hold the stretches for a long time. It also helps if you stretch a lot- at least once a day. Make sure you are stretching correctly. Some other ideas are yoga, pilates and aerobics.
