What does the name "Kaba Modern" mean?

Question:I'm a filipino but I don't understand tagalog (shame on me) and I know that that the original Kaba Modern was started by filipinos so does the name have a meaning?

Also anybody know what "Jabbawockeez" is supposed to symbolize?

I'm not trying to make fun of these crews ( they're way better than Status Quo) but I want to understand them better.

"kaba" originated from the word "kababayan" it means fellow countrymen.. and jabbawockeez.. i dont really know.. but whatever happens, they r cute..

Probably comes from the Lewis Carroll poem Jabberwocky (better known from Alice in Wonderland)
