Position:Home>Dancing> How to learn cheerleading moves?

Question:Such as hand stands, cartwheels, splits, back flips, front flips. Don't say gymnastics because my dad won't let me. He thinks that I'll break my neck and be paralyzed for life. How can I train myself and also train myself to dance without dance class? or maybe with dance class but that one I'm not so worried about.

Thanks

You have to start by getting in good with a cheerleader already on the squad! That's how I sort of learned the ins and outs of getting the moves down. You have to move like the Rockettes of the Radio City Music hall in New York City, they all move together, no one girl or guy is the focus, you work like a unit, and if you want to learn the moves like those types of unit and team moves, than you can learn easily by typing "team cheerleading moves free online" and see what's up then start practicing and getting in good with one of the cheerleaders at your school which is what I did. You talked like it was all about you, so don't think in terms of "yourself" ... The captain of the cheerleaders Jody became my best ever BFF and everyone in my school was asking her "why are you friends with her"? But she liked me because of my energy and enthusiasm to learn those "moves" which she taught me. And I started to get really good at it, but then she met the captain of the wrestling team Andy and our lessons and friendship lessened and she was with him so I did pick up some things, but since we were not close anymore, and it was getting close to try outs, I stopped, but maybe it could be different for you! I don't think your mother told the whole town that they were a bunch of Stepford Wives and Robots then say she adds color to her own neighborhood! So I think you have a better chance of befriending a cheerleader than I did. Good luck.
