Should I do a dance for next years talent show?

Question:I was thinking of doing a singing or comedy act, but I dont want to anymore. This year I am doing a dance to the song Lip Gloss by Lil Mama. I also like to try different things though. PLZ HELP MEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are comfortable dancing, then I'd say go for it. At those type of shows, dancing is usually the most entertaining of all the acts. Too many people sing, and the comedy can be very hit-or-miss. Try a nice up beat song and for extra effect see if you can get some friends to be your background dancers. Dancing for your show is a great idea and I hope you have a lot of fun with it.

I've actually never heard of that song...is it hip hop? Do you have dance background? How old are you and who is your audience? All of these things would need to be considered before settling on what you act might be. Also might be fun to make it a small group dance-especially if it's hip hop-you can be more creative with formations and cannons.

I am in dance for my P.E. credit and we did a dance to Lip Gloss and the beat is good. I would suggest having a small crew of about five. Make sure you keep your shoulders hunched a bit, you legs wide apart (past your shoulders) and have fun with it if you get stuck and want a few ideas from the dance we had just e-mail me or im me some time at auzzieclimber@yahoo.com. Our choreographer is the world renowned Elizabeth Demonico so she knows our level and it was a fun dance and every time I hear that song I can't help but dance too it. Yeah do a dancing act that would be awesome. I would bet that everyone would love it. Yeah because in my school's talent show many people did a dancing act and everyone liked them.

get all the suggestions for the talent show and chose which one u think u are best at etc.

take into consideration ur audience eg. if it is adults u could do adult humour or if its for kids something energetic and maybe even involving them, good luck x
