Real dancing vs. Dance Dance Revolution?

Question:DDR is not real dancing, but when you do it on double play (on 2 DDR pads) it almost sometimes can kinda look like it. There are also people who are very talented at freestyle dancing on DDR.

I want to know what the world thinks about the people who play DDR. (I only do it for exercise)

DDR is not a real dance. Dance is an art and not a game. even the worst dancer can be good in DDR if he has good reflexes and good rhythm. the only way that DDR would look like a real dance is by adding some style in the way you move, but not close enough to a real dance. ( I see alot of people adding some twists, hand movements, body wave, and head popping with every step). Put it on the manic mode and let's see if you can still see some dancing there.

DDR isnt Real Dancing, But it is fun and good exercise if you really get into it! I am a Real dancer. I dance ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, and Hip hop. But I also Own DDR!! I love it just for parties and its good exercise (i love putting it on worl out mode lol) even though its not real dancing.

DDR is not real if their good at DDR freestyle they should try real freestyle.

REAL dancers are terrible at DDR. they try to ues the technique that they learn in class and SUCK (ME).

DDR dancers can't REAL dance. My friends pummel me in DDR, but can't do the splits.

I love DDR, im just terrible at it.
