First time you went to a rave?

Question:im writing a paper based on experiences...
can u tell me about ur experience at a rave? everything u can tell me about it.. about the music/drugs/people. . . the smell the sounds. . ANYTHING at all would be greatly appreciated

ugh It was horrible. I was like 17, it was up in Northern Jersey. the music was all Techno and the lights were constantly flickering and changing colors. there were people floating around the club trying to sell X and acid. All the people I was with were on some drug.....it was just madness. thank-god I wasnt on any drugs or I would have freaked out. We didnt get home until like 3:00am. It was crowded and the place was dirty....it was like a hole in the wall. Very uncomfortable atmosphere.

I have never been to a rave but my friend has. She said all it is is a bunch of goth people making out and smoking crack and marijuana and meth. All the music was hard metal and the atmosphere was unsettling.
