Question:I DID THIS VIDEO AT SCHOOL WITH A BUNCH OF MY FRIENDS...i am the girl in the front row in the middle that does the solo part..Am i good at dancing?? Because i got a certificate to go to LA and dance for the next HMS3...i dont know if im good...song is by Britney spears name of the song is Radar

Usually in a dance, theres a climax in the middle where the moves get really complicated, or something interesting happened. You were good. Quite good, in fact, my eyes would have gone to you even if you didn't tell me who you were. I kept waiting for a moment, one really "WOW" moment where the choreography got really intricate, or you pulled some crazy move. I thought that would happen in the solo, and I just kept waiting for the "WOW" moment. I feel like you have a lot of potential, but it still has to be harnessed.

You're good, but fishing for compliments is not attractive... if you're going to be successful in the dancing business, you need to find people who will tell you how to get better, not find people who can tell you you're already good.

I liked the hole dance, also liked the chosen song. You're a good dancer.

I didn't see anything challenging in the choreography that allowed me to see if you were good or not... You have the beat, you were in time, you knew your choreography - which is more than I can say for some of the dancers (esp in the back)... but really there wasn't a lot to go by. Your solo wasn't anything that made me go "Whoa" that girl really has something...

Sorry sweetie - I am not being hard on you, I just think the choreography didn't show you to your best.

BTW not knowing if you are good is not the question here - not really... in dance we are always striving to be better than good - we want to be great - and never give up when we have set backs....

Asking people how to improve what we already can do - is what it is all about...

From what I can see you have some basics firmly in place but I would need to see you do something that had something more difficult to be able to see...
