Question:what is a good way to open up ur middle split?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: what is a good way to open up ur middle split?

lol umm sit on down with ur legs as open to middle split as possible and do repititions of reaching to ur right leg holding it for about 2 min then left then try to touch the ground with ur chest as much as u can. and itll slowly open up.

hahahahhahaha I'm sorry but that's funny

stretch stretch and stretch some more. and work your turnout at barre

lay on your back with your bum against the wall and your legs up the wall....let your legs flop out into 2nd (middle splits position) . Lay like this for periods of time every day!! remeber not to hold your legs there but to let them flop this stretches your splits quickly!!!

Good luck

sit on the floor spread ur legs as far as u can and then just reachout in front of u but do it like ur trying to put ur chest on the floor

do the split with your hands on the floor in front of you, try to go down on your elbows.
do the frog stretch.
do the gravity stretch and work on your straddle.
good luck!

push your legs to the farthest point you can and hold them there for about a minute and a half, then try to push them out a little farther and hold it there for the same time, then pull them in and relax for a few minutes and try it again.

Or when you are in a strattle, try to push it out as far as you can and bend over to your legs, but aim for the floor right in front of your legs. For a challenge, try to touch your chest to the floor. REMEMBER whenever you bend in a straddle, keep your back straight/arched!

the butterfly/frog strech is also good. try to keep your feet together and close to your body and knees down. For a challenge, bend over like in straddle when you do this.

But, before you stretch for flexibility, stretch to get your muscle warmed up.

also a good stretch to get your middle splits is to extend one leg out and extend the other out like you are in them, except with the knee out and 'sitting' on your foot. Then switch.
