Help, about Flat ballet slippers!!?

Question:If you can tell me about the HISTORY of the flatt ballet slipper it would be greatly appreciated, but im not asking for that much,

but i cant find anything about the history about them online,
i went to wikipedia, and encyclopedia.com, dictionary.com, and answers.com and type in history of flat ballet slipper

but i donnt get much of anything , they give me the history of ballet, but not enough about the slipper to write 300 words about it.=[[.

help please? like suggestions links, or info,

There are two references to slipper development in the section "Early Professional Ballet"

That's what i found. you may find more if you then research the names of dancers associated with slipper development.
