I've actually gotten pointe shoes wet and worn them to break them in and help them mold to my feet a little better.

How long ago did you get them wet? They might not be fully dry get. Give them some time, and try to dance with them before getting new ones. They might be better than before!

You could also try a hair dryer to speed up the drying, but be careful if they're Gaynors, because with them you can use a hair dryer to bend the shank.

well...dont give up yet...try the hardener first but, if the pointe shoe was completely soaked...there probably won't be any hope...sorry but, if u decide to get new ones...(what i would do) a suggestion is suffolk solos...i just got them and they are AMAZING

Srry I think you would be better off just getting a new pair even if they do get a little harder they just get really soft soon...also you could get hurt so i would just get a new pair.

well try the hardener....but i just think ur dead now. i really suggest getting a new pair. how did they get soaked in the first place?

if it is already dry and still gooey, your pretty much done with them :( You could try to put the glue on, but there is nothing really left for it to get absorbed. So I think that you should just get new ones. But 1st try and see if the glue works, I mean it's worth a try

actually some ppl wet their pointe shoes purposely to make the shoe fit persisly to the foot.
unless the tip of the shoe is so soggy that it doesnt hold u up anymore, i wud use them still
they cant stay wet forever

I would get new ones, but after a while they should harden up again... I spilled Lemonade GATORADE on mine, right before a performance, and they hardened up. But, you should get new ones, but keep the old ones: Use them to strengthen your toes, arch, anything in your foot! That's what I use my dead pointe shoes for. :)
