Question:Yesterday, I went to a dance store in my area to buy pointe shoes...i might have just been really tired but, i dont really know. i bought a brand called suffolks and they fit really well...(i thought) i went up on pointe in them and everything and they even felt a little big...but, i went home and sewed on the ribbons and elastic (only on 1 shoe) and when i put it on...it was really small and my toes were all curled up...and yes when i tried them on in the store, i was wearing toepads and at home, i was wearing the SAME kind of toepads so..i dont know how it could have happened and i know my feet couldnt have grown that much in an hour....do u think i will be able to return them? and what do u think happened? i know they are the same shoes as what i tried on because i got an archbreak in them and i got elastic put in them and ...they were the same shoes...so wat happened and will i be able to return them or is it too late because i sewed theM? sorry for the long question

Is it possible to take the ribbons off without damaging the shoes? maybe you can cut the thread really carefully. the only thing i can think of that would have happened is if they set the shoes down or something, or accidently grabbed a different box

yes

maybe your feet were just swollen

I don't know what happened, maybe cause you swed em it messed up how they fit? Maybe they are too tight now? I think it might be too late but its worth a try, try to put em back in the package and make them look un-messed with. :]
-Best of luck-

I don't know about returning them hun...

for me its not bad because you tired to say what is right not because you don't have a reason for to say somebody right okay so that my simple idea

i think it's too late... usually stores only want to receive their products back when it is returned in a good condition with receipt so that they can sell them back.. but you can try to fix it up again or try to bring them back to the stores.. maybe they are generous people hahaha

I think only an employee from the store you purchased the shoes from will be able to answer this question.

If You Have Still Got The Recit..Then You Can Take Them Back And Get Another Pair Becuase You Have Like A 14 Day Garentee On Them...But Make Sure You Have The Receit And Try And Make Them Look Brand New And In A Good Condition Like When You Brought Them

=)

undo whatever you did to the shoes and return them, don't mention that you sowed them and hopefully they don't notice

I really doubt that you will be able to get your money back... in the futrue wait for your dance teacher to "okay" the shoes before you sew on the ribbions and stuff. Alos, what kind of socks were you wering at home? you hsould have been wearing ballet tights to the store and whenever you try them on at home. (any thin stocking actually). good luck.

relax all you have to do is return the other ones that are the same take the money and buy a bigger pair

I think you'll be able to return them, just tell them what happened. I dont know what happened with them though, thats weird, but sometimes that happens to me. I hope everything goes good, have fun dancing, I know I do

NO YES MAYBEY????

U should probably return them, just in case......... my friend wore those kind of shoes all the time, and her feet turned out all nasty and bruised! Thats ok i have answered longer questions. Lol!

Cheyenne :-)

I don't think you can return them, because of foot fungus.

yeah. never have uncomfy pointe shoes. (course theyre always uncomfy, but the should fit well)

the ribbion could have made them smaller, try the other one to see if it fits unless you've already put the ribbion on

call the place where you got them and tell them what happened and ask them if you can return them.
