Depends what type of dance you are doing - for ballet you need to wear one ideally so that your posture can be assessed as it is really hard to see in shorts and t-shirt, but for most other types of dance it shouldn't matter.

hey i'm 15 too lolz. Leotard errr Okkk then lol. I didnt take dance for GCSEs so i just have pe lol.

usually you just wear shorts and a t shirt for PE i never seen or heard of girls wearing leotards for it.

if you are male then a big No get your mum and friends to write to the school authorities - I have a 15 year old grandson and he just WOULD NOT. If not male wear your shorts over the leotard and do it as a protest - leotards are not for everyone

For gym we wear shorts and a shirt,I have never heard of wearing a leotard for gym class and it would probably be very itchy,uncomfortable and revealing...Tell your parents about it and get them to ask the school what's wrong with the original shorts and shirt.I would never wear leotards in gym,eww!Just tell your parents and get people signitures for it and then show it to the principal too.Hope i helped and have a nice day! ?

You might have to wear leotard and shorts or something like that, but I've never heard of PE classes where it's compulsory to just wear leotards. You could always check your school's uniform rules to see what their policy is in case it's just down to the teacher's discretion.
