Please help me with this song( ballroom )?

Question:I really hope someone can halp me I would love to use the the song You raise me up by Josh Gorban for my showcase dance at my ballroom studio

how ever I don't really know what style to use for it I was think either walts or maybe foxtort

Mandy would be either a Rumba or NightClub 2-Step. It is neither a Waltz nor a foxtrot. For Waltz I favor the Nora Jones song, "Come Away With Me"

This is a fabulous song, but it's not a great song to showcase ballroom. If I had to use it, I think I would do a slow foxtrot. This is different than the social or American foxtrot. Here are a couple examples:

If you have a say in it, I would pick the dance you want to showcase, then find a song to suit it.
