Position:Home>Dancing> Instructor was really emphasizing his marriage and that dancing is "acting&

Question:I'm married, so is he. But for some reason today he seemed to make it clear how when he's dancing with other women that its all "acting" (like during the sultry rumba dancing, etc.) and mentioned how students sometimes fall for their instructors because of the connection they feel through dancing. It made me feel a little stupid because it's not like I'm hitting on him or anything? Is he just forewarning me not to try to dry hump his leg or something?

You've already asked this several times. What he's saying is that a lot of dance is illusion, and you have to act like the emotional is real in performances even if its not.I doubt he was saying he fears you'll fall in love with him. But fi he continues acting like that, I'd briefly tell him he made his point, let's be on with it.

Yes. That is exactly what he is telling you.

Well...maybe he's trying to hint to you that perhaps you seem like you're coming onto him?

Or maybe that's code for: "Let's be professional for now, then you can do me." Or perhaps, he's trying to fluff up his ego by thinking someone will fall for him. O..o

Men are just strange sometimes. Dx

Maybe he'd run into the problem earlier in the day and was still in over-reaction mode.
