If you work as hard as possible and if you really want it you will deffinitley have it in time. The MAIN thing to remember when trying out is to be confident. SMILE and be extremely loud and peppy. Even if your not happy with your performance, keep that smile on your face and pretend nothings wrong. It scores big points with the judges. Just remember be loud, sharp, smile, and be confident. Good luck!!

Just be loud and make stiff motions...show spirit and smile....

well i have been cheering since i can remember and the best way is to know your moves and put your own spice to it meaning don't add movements but May be wink to the judges or something like that and yeah you can get you back hand spring in 2 weeks if you are in shape work hard and do not over eat
hope this helps

if you want your bhs with a passion, you need to get over your fears (if you even are scared) of throwing it by yourself. but two weeks seems a little short to me. if you went to tumbling classes everyday for two weeks for an hour long, then you probably have a shot of doing it by yourself without falling on your face. but practice makes perfect, and when you tryout, be very very smiley and spirity and make your motions sharp and that should be more important then skills.

It all depends on how driven you are to get you handspring. If you kinda want it then you might not get it as fast, but if you really really want it, then you could get it. It also depends on how often you're taking those classes in the 2 weeks. If it's everyday you'll have more of a chance of getting it.

For tryouts, go in and be confident. Even if you mess up keep smiling. Start stretching every day and working on your jumps now so you'll be flexible and have good jumps at tryouts. Good luck!

If the instructor has said you can learn the BHS in 2 weeks either he is lying or he knows you have the skill set you need to learn it that fast. (Jump back, handstand & block, and snap down.)

You can read some tryout tips and watch some good tumbling video tutorials here: http://aescougarcheer.com/Cheer101/basic...

Good luck!
