DRill Team?

Question:For anyone who has made thei high shool's junior varsity drill team, how does tryout process go?? exactly what must we be capable of doing and what do we do at the tryouts? i know every school is different, but I just need a general idea...

this is how my school's tryouts went:
splits (on both sides)
double pirrouettes
an extra turn of your choice
right grande jete
center leap (leading with right leg)
extra jump of your choice
dance routine taught a week before
-i don't know if your school will be exactly like this, but it will probably be similar.

Shanie turns and pirouettes (sorry about the spelling!) you defiantly need to know! they are big parts of dance be able to do a leap and watch wear the arms are placed! that is a big deal...at least with my dance teacher. i dance the dance company at my dance school and that was i no what mattered a lot! hop this helps GOOD LUCK!
