Question:Hey everyone
basically i do a lot of dance and im fairly flexible for a guy, i can nearly do the 3 splits. i can get head on knees when sitting in pike, can get by knees flat on the ground when my feet are in as close as physically possible and then lean down and get my head on the floor for the butterfly groin stretch and can get hands flat on ground ect. but i want to be able to kick higher and become more flexible but i dont really know wat strecthes and exercises to do. i also want to learn how to get my leg (at the moment i can only really do abit above 90 degrees) higher without using my hands, just leg muscles. so if anyone has any exercises for that i would much appreciate it! any tips would be great!

It takes more than flexibility to kick high. It sounds like you are doing lots of stretching to work on flexibility. What you may be missing is a very strong core (abdominal muscles). Try working on your abs, or better yet, take a pilates class. Pilates is great to strengthen core muscles. Core muscles are an important part of having the strength to hold your leg up high.
