Question:I am 24 and I have always wanted to take a ballet class.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I am 24 and I have always wanted to take a ballet class.

I started pointe work at age 26, and performed in the corps de ballet of Les Syllphides (with a local company) when I was age 30 and 13 weeks pregant. Find a good teacher (you should be welcome to observe class before participating), and pay attention to your body's needs, and enjoy!

nope

Proffessionally I think too old, but for your own fun, no

never to old to do what u love but it will be hard for u if your not flexible. u can always become a ballet teacher :]

your never too old to do anything. the people who start younger may grow to a higher level but, you can learn to do anything at practically any age. good luck

No one is too old to try. But I have to warn you that people may laugh.

I would think you would be able to start a class. I don't know about going professional, but they should not say no to doing a class.

You're too old to make it a career, but NEVER too old to enjoy it

your never to old to try anything.

no

If you want to do it for fun you should go for it....as a career your a little late to start

Of course not. There are many dance schools that offer ballet/ tap/ jazz lessons for adults. I would definately do it! It's never too late to try out a new skill. Dancing is a lot of fun! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. =)

go for it!!

You are never too old to do what makes you happy.

ur never 2 old 2 do somthin

never too old!

I didn't think that anyone was to old to do ballet. find your self a teacher and go for it. I'm pulling for you, you would look good in tights GOOD LUCK!!!!!

YOU'RE NEVER TO OLD TO DANCE

No, but understand that gaining flexibility will be more difficult. It's not impossible. I have a friend who started at 30. In the straddle stretch on the floor, she could barely lean forward. She kept working. In two years, she got her chest to the floor!
Don't worry if you don't have 180' turnout - few dancers do. Even if you only have 90' turnout, dance with that.
Ballet is most enjoyable, beautiful and great exercise!

your never too old to try anything.

your muscles will never be exactly capable, but you can learn simple ballet easily
