Yes, spring fling is a formal dance like homecoming.

It's really very similar to homecoming, but generally there aren't as many people at spring fling because it's not one of the "big" dances (homecoming or prom).

I on the other hand love spring fling just as much if not more than homecoming, because I love to get dressed up and have fun!

A spring fling dance is just a regular kind of dance it is kind of formal I only know that You wear pretty dresses that are in style for Spring maybe you should try to ask your teachers or your cuzins that know about that.:)
