My little cousin can't dance. What do I do?

Question:My little cousin name is Siara. She only can do very few dances and when I try to teach her . She don't learn. Please ,please help me what do I do? She is nine. She should know how to dance. I can!!

i couldn't dance at nine.....well maybe the hokey pokey.

You should try to train her. Don't put her into too many pressure. Show her your basic and easy steps first. Demonstrate it to her. Then force her to do it over a couple of times. She might get used to it. Good luck!;)

that is okay maybe dancing is not her thing not everyone can dance ....maybe dance class if you really want her to learn but don't push it on her it will make her hate it more than you think...have you ever asked her how she feels about the whole thing ? also encourage her don't put her down when she can not do it like you....at least she is trying

well one odvious option is dance classes. try to convince her parents to get her into dance classes. and when you see her help her on the things she learned. try not to yell when your helping her. Now If u are a teacher! then I really have no right to tell you what to dosince i am only a student, but at least try to start with the basics. I am a dancer myself and I do every thing. But first try to focus on one style of dance and if she gets tired of that try somthing else.

- Ballet __tondus and rondeshomes
- Jazz __ leaps (sote sha) turns (perewett)
- Tap__ suffels and falaps
- Hip Hop__ But pop or step cross heel

When you teach her how to dance try doing it really slowly or something because she just might be confused. Or physically help her :)

make it fun. dont force it on her. start dancing with her other cousins. that might make her want to learn how.
