just work on tendus and plies, practice standing in the positions, etc. but remember: NEVER force your turnout- always make sure that you turn out from your hips, not your knees/ankles; your knees should always point the exact same direction as your toes; if your feet are in perfect fifth but your knees aren't turned out with them, you can cause serious injuiry, this happend to my friend, she dislocated her knee and couldn't dance for 3 months!!!

Once you go back to classes, your flexibility and turnout will return. The more classes you take the better you'll get back your skills from before. In the meantime, you can practice splits, frog leg stretch, straddle stretch, all those other stretches you used to do in ballet. Try to take a Pilates class this summer too, along with ballet. It's great for flexibility and core strength and really helps dancers. Good luck!
