Position:Home>Dancing> I want to start intense ballet .?

Question:i grew up taking ballet classes, but when i was about 10 my favorite teacher left my studio, and soon after it closed. my mom had me begin taking classes at a different studio, but i quit soon after because the studio had put me in a level a lot lower than i should have been. after that i quit, i lost much of my flexability. when i was 13 i started again, not proffessionally, but taking classes once a week. i'm 14 now and want to take more classes, at a different studio thats more intense. the only thing is, i don't know how to tell my parents i tottally love ballet and want to try and be great at it.

tell them how much you really really love ballet and that you know if you do more classes that are more intense you know the you will be a great dancer. also say that this is what you really really want to do and you dont want to regret not doing what you love when your older

hope this helps!!

just tell them really wat you want to do, they will support you anyway. Just do what your heart tells you!

Well your mom will probably be easiest to convince. Just tell her what you told us. You really love it and miss it.

*random tip

Try taking several "trial" classes at different studios until you find one you love.

go for it! it's your life and your dream, your parents should be cool with it. unless it costs a lot. but if it means that much too you surely you can find a way to help pay for it. if you do offer to help pay, that would show your parents that you are truly committed. whatever you do never give up on your dreams!
