Shoot! I'm nervous! :P?

Question:Okay so tis coming friday is the school dance. Im in grade 7 and its only gonna be the second dance where guys & girls dance with eachother. The thing is, I haven't danced with anyone before. Im shy nd last dance said no to the three guys who asked me. Now im feeling more ready to dance with the guys, but thing is the ppl I want to dance with are my crush and then the only other non-creepy guys are guys who my friends like.

So should I dance with the non-creepy guys, even though my friends like them? Or would that make me un-loyal to my friends? I know I would feel guilty after.

Second issue. Theres this guy who thinks im the best girl in the class, but the thing is he grosses me out AND my friend likes him (i have no clue why honestly). How am I supposed to say no to him nicely when he asks me to dance???

Umm...u should probably lay off the guys your friends like unless they tell you that it's okay to dance with them. Besides it's only dancing. Would your crush dance with you? If he will then you should go for it because he could be your future boyfriend. And as for the creep. Ok. When he asks just take a deep breath and say something like: " (bob) I really dont feel compfortable going to the dance with you. I think your nice person but I just dont like you like that. I'm sorry." then calmly walk away. Besides, it's more fun going to a dance with your friends anyways. Trust me...lol. ; )

don't dance with guys your frineds like and don't dance with guys you don't want to dance with
just have a good time and don't worry so much

I met a girlfriend at a dance. I went to the dance to play with the band and dance. I jammed w/ the band and during a break I asked a girl to dance that was surrounded by guys but weren't dancing. The guys liked her, but were too shy to dance....As she walked with me to the dance floor, she looked at the other guys and said, "I like a man, WHO ASKS ME TO DANCE!". Her name was Amy. After one dance I went to play with the band some more. During another break, I asked her again, but she had already accepted someone else's invitation to dance....So...I asked the lady in the next chair, she said yes and as we moved to the dance floor, Amy came running up to tell me she was available to dance since the other guy didn't know that dance. I smiled and said I would love to dance the next dance with her, but I had already asked the lady standing at my side......After that Amy's friend's told her to chase me, because my behavior told them that I wasn't there to pick up girls, I was there to play in the band and to dance.

Amy and I ended up dating for 3 years, and though we didn't marry, we are still very good friends.

My point? Relax. Go to the dance to have a good time. When you are truly having a good time, people can tell and the other things will work out for themselves.
