Question:im dominican and i cant freaking dance.
i dont know what to do.
no one
i mean no one that knows me personally
knows that i cant dance.
if i go to like a party or something
i dont want to make a fool out of myself.
a latina that cant dance.
oh gosh.

any suggestions?

awwwwwwwww, ANYONE can dance, baby...just move and SWAY to the music...thats really all you got to do....! Honest!

Can you hold a baby in your arms and sway ???
Rock back and forth back and forth??? Scoot your feet on the floor, shuffle them?? Then you can dance!

this might be embarrassing but when you have a room left to yourself or your alone just try dancing to some music and see how good you are. you never know, the genes might just come out!
or try and get your friends to help you learn how to dance

you have to "be able to dance" to dance.
but if you insist on some pointers then here you go:
don't grind. it's dumb
it's in the hips hun, move yo hips!!
just don't stop moving, and just keep the beat and you'll be fine.
sometimes, and most the time, acting like a fool IS dancing, and honestly you'll have the most fun.
oh, and if you've seen hitch, do what he says
and even some old school "foolish" moves are bomb too! like; bus-driver, thriller moves, SOULJA BOY!!, just to name a few. but don't be afraid. confidence is also important.
so just be a confident fool, and you'll look like you've been dancing all you're life! good luck!!! and DON'T FORGET TO HAVE FUN!!!
