Hairstyles for dance?

Question:well during dance class i just wear my hair in a ponytail.. and then a bun for ballet. i really want a cuter hair style that is out of my face and lets me dance. umm... no baids plase or messy buns..

Do your hair 1/2 up. Or Pig tails=2 pony tails

It's a little more formal, but I like to pull my hair into a low ponytail, twist a bunch of little sections and then pin them in place until I have a casual "up-do" (that's not actually up :])
Also, I like to take a section of my hair and twist it or braid it into my ponytail. Does that make any sense? It's really hard to describe! :]

Well i KNOW you said no buns, but I like putting my hair in a bun on either side of my head. Looks good on me, idk about you. hahh. Or depending on the length of your hair you could pull it into several pony tails, like...the hair right after your forehead...hah...and twist it and get a couple clear, tiny hair ties and then pull it all back into whatever you want!

well i get mine a bit curly and have it go up with my hair tie then i loosly twist it around the hair tie and clip it with bobby pins

i like to put my hair in a ponytail, but leave out the front section(only about 1 or 2 inches) and then part that front section and twist the 2 pieces back and add them to my ponytail. and then i do whatever to the ponytail, like put it in a bun or somthing.

and a fun version of a bun: put your hair into a ponytail and seperate it into 6 or so sections. then twist the sections and pin each one into a spiral shape around the base of the ponytail.

wow, hope those directions aren't too confusing!

alot of my friends do their hair in 2 pony tails on the back of their head then wrap it to make a longish looking "bun".
