Famous 80s dances?

Question:I'm doing a project in school about the 80s and I need to know some famous dances from the 80s. I know about Thriller(who doesn't?) but I can't do the moonwalk. I'd like if you mention dances that have easy-to-find background info such as where the dance originated, who invented it, which celebrities promoted it, what music you listen to while doing the dance, etc. Any help at all but be supremely appreciated! Think you can help me out?? :)
