Learning to dance:

Don't worry too much about it initially. When you're new, they don't expect you to have a lot of moves. And many places will still hire new girls. They tend to have a better attitude. The most important thing is that you're physically fit (don't have to be skinny, just in pretty good shape) and have a good personality.

Go to a club you plan to audition at ahead of time and watch the other dancers. Take note of easy moves you can do. Important- if you're watching, you MUST be tipping a dollar per song, even if you're not at the rack. That's basic etiquette, and you don't want to piss off people who might be your co-workers very soon. Don't try to just look on the sly without tipping. They will notice.

Pole work is not that important. It's not really what most customers come for, and I know plenty of dancers that bank without ever touching the pole. Most guys would rather have eye contact, and some personal attention (a dance move or two done in front of them) than see pole tricks.

How much you make varies a lot, depending on what shifts you work, what town you're in, if the club allows lap dances or is stage only, your hustle skills, etc. It could be anywhere from a $50 day shift (shifts are usually 4-6 hours) or hundreds and hundreds a night. When you're new, you'll probably have to take some less good shifts, and maybe a good night shift or two. Don't get discouraged. Dancers switch clubs frequently, and you'll likely move up to better shifts quickly.

Don't be afraid to work at different clubs, even at the same time. You'll discover where you make better money, and what's a better work environment for you.

Good luck!

lol

For chist's sake, find some other way to make money, dear...

will the pole is just a thing you will need to do to get your personal techniques down, at a good strip joint the ladies can walk out with a few hundred dollars on a good night. and if you get good client tell (the guys who come in just to see you) you can make more. the striper's in las Vegas make good money because that where lots of guys like to go for a fun time.
