Position:Home>Dancing> Songs For Dance Duet?

Question:Me and my friend are just about to start our duet together and our dance teacher asked us to think of songs we could use. We are going to be doing a jazzish/lyricalish dance so i need some pretty songs. I dont want any songs that are way to over used or to new...

Thanks :]

hmm that sounds like a toughy.

well if you want something that has some dance, funk, and a bit of rocky jazz, i suggest any song by electric six, dance epidemic by them would be perfect.

if you want something smooth and/or poppy i suggest
rilo kiley - silver lining, jojo - coming for you, alanise morrisette - crazy, pearl jam - last kiss, the cardigans - love fool, james blunt - give me some love, or james blunt - high, finger eleven - i'll keep your memory vague,

and for something a little more rock/pop like : muse - starlight, suzie mcneil - hung up, duncan sheik - barely breathing, gavin degraw - follow through, okgo - here it goes again,

i'm sorry i wish i could help you more lol .maybe you cud upload a video of the dance so it'd be easier to pic some music to suit it :)

good luck!!

Okay, how about Cyndi Lauper's,"All Through The Night"? I used this (years ago) to great effect and, although I did it as a solo,it can easily be used to make a duet on.
