It doesn't matter as long as they are amazing dancers. It also depends on how tall the guys in the company are because they don't want huge height differences in their dancers.

i don't think it matters. most ballerinas are the same height as their male partners when they are en pointe. I got accepted to Julliard, I am going to be a professional ballerina(hopefully) and i am 5'8",

tall or short but always thin

it depends on the company, some like the really tall girls and others like short girls. Height isn't really a factor as long as your a great dancer.
