Position:Home>Dancing> Does anyone know how to do the sugar/ shimmy dance move?

Question:Sugar and shimmy are different dance moves.

For a sugar, bend your knees and roll up onto releve. Turn one leg out while keeping the other leg turned in, and then switch, turning the other leg out and the one leg in. Keep switching. Bring your hands to about your waist level and spread your fingers about as wide as a jazz hand. Then snap your wrists up and down repetitively, while moving your feet.

For a shimmy, you can put your feet together or apart, walk forward, backward, or not walk at all. Just put your arms out with your hands either spread to a jazz hand or rolled into a loose first and shake your arms and your chest from side to side.

Good luck!
