Question:There are only a few judges but millions of voters so I can not see how they can say half!

I don't understand why people don't get this it is explained so many times.
I'll try again.
The judges give scores, there is then a leader board eg.
1st
2nd
3rd ... and so on.
Say the couple who come first get 10 points, second get 9, third get 8 etc.
The same happens with the number of votes that come in, so we get a 1st, 2nd, 3rd thing going on again, and then the same points system is applied.
So say the people who come 2nd with the judges get 9 points, but come third with the public, thats 8 points ... 9 + 8 = 17.
Whoever comes out with the most points wins.
If it's a draw, I think they look at who got most calls from the public.
The numbers may be different for dancing on ice, but that is the general idea.

Iam with you on that one....baffles me too..

I dont know exactly to be honest but i think it maybe done as percentages of what the judges have given them and how many of the public have voted for them if that makes sense :S lol
