personally i think ballet....i dont do it wish i could but somehow the overall effect of ballet jus look better x

because I've taken Ballroom and I can do it...
when I look at some one dong ballet my whole body aches because of the contortions of another human being going through the pain that they won't admit to.. Besides I'm old and I can't do it any more...lol

personally i believe ballroom because you can put your own style and flavor into the different dances and no disrespect to people who do ballet but all thier performances seem the same but ballroom its a whole nother level of your personality and dance combined

Ballroom because it's fun and you don't get judged for anything other than your dancing.

i think ballets better because it is the foundation for every dance.
also
you can go further with it if you want to
where as ballroom . . .

hope tht helps
x

i have taken ballet longer so i would choose that and ballroom dancing is very hard for me

Ballet will make you a better dancer. Ballet is the foundation of dance.

Ballroom is more fun and social. Ballet is more structured and discipline-orientated. It just depends on if you just want to go and have fun and dance, or you want to seriously study dance.

I am a dance major, so I study ballet and modern and numerous other styles of dance. If I were just dancing for fun and exercise, I might just take ballroom.

They're both great, I've done a little of each and I like them both, but maybe ballroom is better because it's more social and you can dance with someone else. My opinion anyways:-)
