Position:Home>Dancing> Why are Irish competitions so messed up?

Question:Ok, I'm a level 3 irish dancer but in competitions I'm still in level one. Mainly because I keep getting put up against people that are level 4 and above. So everytime I compete I get seconds or thirds but never firsts. I don't mind a challenge, actually I welcome it. But there's certain things that need to be put on a even playing field don't you think?

If they are classifying you as level 1, it sure sounds unfair.
But if you are competing against level 4 and above and placing second and third, you are doing great. It would be nice if they would level the playing field. Have you asked them why you are not competing on your own level? Good luck. I can't dance but I love Irish dancing.

Have you seen Alaskin butt racing? That's messed up.

to be sure to be sure
