For Cheerleaders and Dancers only Please!!!?

Question:Do u think I have a better chance of making the cheer squad bcuz im really good at it?? R do u think i should tryout for dancing even tho I mite not make it.ppl r telling me dat cheerleaders r stuck up nd everyone hates them! So dey think I should go for the Dance team! Should I not listen to dem??? Also can I make the Cheerleading team even tho I dnt know how to do a backhandspring??? Help Plz

Alright, first, you just have to forget about everyone elses opinion. Do what makes YOU happy, not what everyone else wants you to do. Don't let people's opinions of cheerleaders affect your decision. And which one do you enjoy more? You say you're better at cheerleading... but if you like dance more, try out for that- if you have a passion for it, you'll improve. If you like cheerleading better, do that. And do you know the requirements to make the cheerleading team? It's not the same for every team, so I can't tell you if you'll need to have your back handspring. Bottom line... do what makes you happy.

Do what you like to do most. No one cares if cheerleaders are stuckup or not. People will talk about you no matter what - it is a fact of high school life.

The only way for people to stop thinking that cheerleaders are stuck up is by proving that they are not. I would try out for the cheerleading team because it is what you are good at. Are you honestly going to just do the dance team because it will make you look better?!? I would ask the coaches holding the try outs if you need to have a back handspring in order to make the squad.

Why not do both??
