Practice. After every class, a beginner who's serious in becoming a good dancer practices at least 4x a week for 3 hrs per day. Dont get discouraged if you dont get the moves rite away. Breaking, popin/lockin require a lot of technique. So practice. Also when u start any new dance dont rush into it, speed will come eventually. Also stay positive, when u do ur body responds just like when ur not. Anyway you can get an idea of what each dance is like if u start practicing now.
Soulja boy's "crank that". It has become popular and it's easy to do.

It may look difficult but if you look at the video you'll see their moves are clean making it easy to distinguish the move so you can pick it up quickly. This dance actually scored high. If you want try a dance tutorial try this

Practice and soak in and copy down as much detail as possible in your technique. Trust me on this one. I wanted to learn how to do certain dances and I learned to copy technique down to the bone. i don't know if you can draw very well but when you're drawing and trying to copy another piece of artwork, you don't leave out a single detail and once its done and you've mastered this art of copying, you can add your own "flair." Sorry to go philisophical on you but "If you meet the Buddha, Kill the Buddha." you'll figure it out.
