lol ballet doesnt mean you'll have "bloody" toes. Dont be nervous though. That induces self-doubt and your body will respond= not doing its best. Even though it might be 7 years when you start the classes you'll probably will probably pick up what you once knew. Your technique might not be as strong but give it time. Just like when learning a new dance dont rush into it. Otherwise it'll look awkward.

I'd say choose jazz, its upbeat like hip hop. Once you've completed that maybe you can move on to hip hop.

Try something new, hip hop doesn't involve bleeding toes

First of all, there's no reason that you shoul have bloody toes because that means that you are working your feet to hard or they weren't ready yet for pointe. The ballet world does require their dancers to be light weight, but don't let that stop you. I think that you should take a ballet class because that is the foundation of all dances. Ballet will help you in hip hop and jazz too. But you don't also have to choose from just jazz and hip hop! There's all kinds of other dancing like modern, west african, lyrical, and contemporary! The only advice I can give you is to do what you think you could never get tired from and what you love the most. Try this: If you missed jazz classes and hip hop classes for 5 weeks, which one will you miss the most? It all matters on which one you love because that is the only thing that is going to keep you coming week after week to that dance studio!!!

first of all quitting for 7 years is a lot of time so if you don't remember anything you should take ballet because it is the base of all dances, and to me the most difficult and challenging but the most beautiful and pasionate once you have ballet technique the others will come in so much easier and you can decide to stay in ballet or choose another one, plus you do have to be light weight but not anorexic!! people just don't get it most dancers are thin because they excersise alot not beacause they don't eat or throw up, so as soon as you get more into it you will probably loose a little bit of weight too... but it's your choice Which do you like the most?
Good luck
