well 1st off, break dance aka b-boying is basically the "birth" of hip hop dancing. Hip Hop dance consists of B-boying, popping, and locking. Freestyling is when u dance to the music freely, without choreography.something u would do on the spot.

breakin' is just part of hiphop. it consists of toprock, footwork, power moves (such as headspins), and freezes. it's like the beginning of hiphop dance. it's most often freestyled while hiphop is usually choreographed. hiphop contains a bit of breakin', poppin', lockin', krump, etc and sometimes even a teensy bit of jazz. freestyle can really mean any type of dance. it just means that you're making it up on the spot instead of ahead of time. if you choreographed a routine and practiced the same one over and over again for a while and then performed it then thats not freestyling. when you freestyle you come up with it right then and there.
