Its not too late.....heck no! Your 14. Very good experience, actually i recommend you take a couple more classes. I am and its way cheaper to take more than one where i am. You should take jazz and lyrical, maybe modern. Maybe tap. The more experience the better. You could be so versitile. Some people are born to dance, some aren't. But that never means they never can, its just a matter of working at it and you can always use it in your freestyle works.

It is not too late. Ballet helps with all forms of dance, even if you are not doing it to be in the Joffery Ballet. It helps you build your core and center as well as a great thing for flexibility

its never to late to start ballet i think it will help u with ur freestyle alot take a chance and try it i know alot of girls who started dancing when they were ur age

No, I have been taking ballet all my life and its never too late to start. There are people who are like kinda old and they start and it turns out fine! It actually helps alot in life!

Never too late to start - enjoy....work hard

not at all...
my dance studio, we have a class of 20 beginners ur age

no its not. i'm 12 and i take ballet and at my dance class studio ther r alot of girls who r 17 and older. its is never too late to dance. i dont want to make a proffesion out of my classes either but for me, ballet centers me, it is my way of meditation. although ther is alot of work in ballet, in the long run its fun. when u find a dance studio, see if they have recitals, mine does and i lov going on stage atleast once a year. if ur studio has competition you can compete against other studios across the country. sorry this is so long but you shoud take ballet its great and ur never too old to start dancing at all. WORK IT GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps- i dont just take ballet- to help with ur freestyle- u shud probably take tap, jazz, and acrobatics, plus if u take more than 1 class its cheaper that way too.

it's definitely not too late i started when i was 17 :-)
