Hello again. Well, the Oireachtas is normally reserved for very high up dancers, or that's the way it was at my school. If you're just starting out I'd recommend trying to get into one of the ceilis so you can see it within the safety of a group. Normally you get a solo dress once you reach Prizewinner. However, I used my school dress for a while in that group and nobody said anything.
