Belly dance has many different costuming elements and many different costumes based on it's different styles. In fact the coin costumes are generally among the least authentic and in many cases the least interesting. For nightclub/cabaret styles the costuming usually consists of a two piece bedlah (suit) which is frequently covered in beads and sequins with lots of draping fringe along the bust and the entire bottom of the belt. This is in no way a complete guide to costuming just a very brief post to explain the differences between the costuming of bellydance and Indian dance. Indian costuming is quite different from this. The closest is that of Bollywood/Bhangara style dances.
