I'll stand by you by Carrie Underwood is the lyrical song my dance class is using. Other song are: Hero by Enrique Iglesias. Apologizes by Justin Timberland. Miss Your Love by Maria Mena. Hurt by Christina Aguilera. What Hurt The Most by Rascal Flatts. How to save my life by Fray. Everytime we touch by Cascada. Basically you just gotta find a song that deal with sadness or a slow song.

Good luck.

My lyrical group is doing a dance to Bang, Bang (My baby shot my down) by Cher. I'm not a huge Cher fan, but the song is edgy and different. :)

One of my person favorites is "Rock your soul" by Elise. Another favorite of mine is "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap, I'm actually composing a dance to that song.

Hands Open by Snow Patrol is kind of rockish but really steady. It matches lyrical perfectly!
