i've been on point for almost 2 years. to help strenthen your feet i would roll a tenis ball under neth them or try picking up marbles with your toes. its always helps to work with a thereband (do you have one? they are great!) and before dancing on them dampen the heels so you wont get blisters. to break in your point shoes walk around the house on them...bouncing on demipoint also helps.

I have been en pointe for the past year. To be en pointe you need to have strong feet. What helps make your feet stronger are doing a bunch of releves. They really help. Thay also make your calf muscles bigger and stronger. Doing them on the edge of stairs works even better. Just do it so that your heels are off of the stairs though.

i've been on pointe for six years now and i have a VERY little arch, causing me problems to get all the way up, but i've found ways that can help even the most flat footed person. i've learned that when i put my pointe shoes on to moisten them and get them wet enough to where when you can go up a get a good arch and it helps to break them in. i suggest you walk around in them for a little bit, but if u have a good arch you need to becareful to not break the shanks. After you take them off you might want to moisten them again in the arch and move them back and forth with your hands until they bend easily. best of luck!

I've been dancing for 22 years. I also like the theraband, but I also stick to tried and true arch stretches, like flex and roll through. I was luckily very blessed to be born with ridiculous turn out, but its always helpful to rememer ti comes from the abdominal and hips, not the ankles.

Now what exactly is your question, wise one with 8 whole years of dance experience?
