Position:Home>Dancing> What are some good dance moves to dance to jingle bell rock?

Question:okay, so in PE we have to make up a dance at least a minute long with at least 5 moves. My group picked jingle bell rock, and we have the beginning all figured out, but we're not sure about the part " what a bright time, it's the right time, to rock the night away...." at first we thought to try to make up a similar dance to the one in mean girls, but it has to be original . any ideas?

"What a bright time" - dramatically step your left leg out to the side on "what a " and then push your left hip out while sliding your right leg to be next to your left leg on "bright". Then on "time", stomp that right leg into standing position. During the slide part, put your arms like airplane wings at a tilt towards your sliding foot. And when you stomp on "time", clap your hands. On "It's the right time", do the same thing but reverse the direction. For "rock the night away", put your elbows close to your sides and swing your fists right and left to the beat while you sink your body lower.

If you want to be more advanced, have someone do the slide from right to left while someone else does left to right so the sliding part intersects and the dancers switch positions.

Sounds fun!

hmmm...look up dance moves on youtube, and I'm sure you'll get some ideas!
