Position:Home>Dancing> Any other Celtic dancers out there?

Question:I've been doing Celtic (or Irish, whatever you wanna call it) dance for almost 6 years now, and it is so much fun! Not everyone does it, that's what I like about it, it's just unusual to tell people that that's what I do!

If not Celtic dance, what other interesting dance do you do that isn't common? (NO ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop...those are WAY too common :P)

The only good dancing a woman can do is pole dancing!!!

Well there is a BIG difference in "Celtic" dancing.
The two most common forms of Celtic dancing are: Irish Step Dancing, and Scottish Highland Dancing.
If you don't know the difference there is a good chance you are not taking lessons from a properly trained TCRG certified Irish Step Dancer teacher. If you do not take from a certified teacher you are not allowed to compete in Feishes. I do not know the rules of Scottish Highland Dancing. Yet I do know they aren't the same.
