Question:I know this is a weird title, but I'm trying to find the name of the song that goes with this dance. It has been done a lot of times before and I'm trying to find a video of it.

I think you are referring to an Alvin Ailey dance, starring Judith Jamison. It's a spiritual, in a Southern church?? I think it's called "Cry." See:

If this isn't the right dance, then it is an Alvin Ailey dance, or Katherine Dunham. The one with the fans is happy, so it may not be "Cry." I know exactly what you are talking about, and I can see the dance.
I don't think I have answered your question, but the Choreography is circa 70's-early eighties. Maybe I gave you a place to start.
