I agree with everything frog said. I do not expect you to choose me for best answer but, I just wanted to say this.
Don't listen to those imature 12 year olds.
Hell, if i could be a stripper, I would.
And in my opinion, the way you want to support yourself is YOUR buisiness, not thier's.

i've nevr tried it but my sis has n she says all u have to do is climbon use ur legs to support u she makes like $25 an hour and according to her jsut have fun

u wanna be a stripper? ur questions probably gonna get deleted lol i think u just pretend like u want the pole and it'll just come naturally but i think u should probably wait a couple years if ur on yahoo answers asking this its seems young

I had friends in NY who sometimes got stuck working afternoon shifts. Sometimes they'd go home w/ $30 for the day after they got done kicking back their fees. By the time they paid cab fare they'd make it home after 6 hours having made about $3 an hour.

It all depends on what you're willing to do to get the manager to like you and give you prime slots.

you are 20 with a kid and you want to get into that seedy line of work?

Once you do, you will be into crack in about 3 months. There is no such thing as a stripper who is not into drugs.

Also, the club owners a real criminals who think nothing about forcing you into prostitution.

I knew a very nice woman named MOM , who ran a restaurant: she spent her life trying to rescue these girls and give them a better life outside of stripping, and you want to get into it for some reason???

Pole dancing? You think anyone give a damn how well you can friggin twirl around on a pole???? They want to see
p ussy!!

............... wow....

um i have to say try to learn form the pros. like in strip clubs.

um i am not a stripper.

and if you do dance...well.... you could make big bucks and tips too.

have fun :)

to pole dance you practice do it in the club during light hours when hardly anyone is in the club no one expects you to be your best in the beginning sure other girls may harass you but they are in it for the money too and if you are too good you get the cash they want so just ignore the comments

In the beginning I made maybe 250.00 a night after tip out within a month I was about 500.00 a night and about 800.00 was my best night. That is the mid west not a real stripper town.

Best advice I received was "fake it till you make it" Confidence pays and until you gain confidence fake confidence. Don't get drunk or high just so you can dance or you will be dancing to get drunk or high. Most clubs have a quota of how many drinks customers are supposed to buy you but they need not be alcoholic most places have a non alcoholic shot or you can arrange with the bar tender that your Jack and coke you order needs to be just coke. But it makes then men feel better and they tip more when you have a "drink" with them.
Good luck if this is the path you choose.

thinking of a career change. Good luck....
